At CFStream, we are committed to conducting our business as a purchasing and trading centre responsibly, sustainably and with the highest level of integrity. We recognise that a sustainable supply chain is essential to balance the needs of today with those of future generations. To fulfil this mission, we work closely with our suppliers, whose commitment to ethical practices is essential.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out our expectations as to how our Supplier Partners — including producers, manufacturers, processors, carriers and business partners — will work with us to uphold these principles and build a better future together.
CFStream Guiding Principles
Our core principles guide each of our activities worldwide and form the foundation of our business practices. These principles apply to all our employees and extend to our Supplier Partners through this Code of Conduct.
By adhering to these shared values, we build stronger, more transparent relationships that create lasting value for all parties. The Supplier Code of Conduct forms an integral part of our supply contracts and sets the standards of collaboration to achieve shared success.
1. Compliance with the Law
We expect all our Supplier Partners to share our commitment to ethical conduct by strictly complying with all applicable laws. Compliance is not limited to meeting minimum obligations: it must constitute a standard of responsibility.
- Understand and apply the laws in force in your sector of activity;
- Regard legal requirements as a foundation, not a ceiling;
- Inform CFStream without delay of any issue likely to affect health, safety or regulatory compliance.
2. Conducting Business with Integrity
Trust is the cornerstone of our business relationships. We seek partners who share our values of honesty, transparency and accountability.
- Fair and ethical competition in winning our contracts;
- Prohibition on offering or accepting any undue advantage (bribes, gifts, kickbacks);
- Prevention of conflicts of interest likely to compromise integrity;
- Promotion of these ethical standards among your own suppliers.
3. Keeping Accurate and Honest Records
Informed decisions rely on reliable information. Our partners must ensure full transparency in order to maintain the trust of our clients and stakeholders.
- Keep accurate and truthful records reflecting all business transactions;
- Implement rigorous compliance processes to guarantee safety and quality;
- Be able to disclose, on request, the origin of raw materials and the location of production sites.
4. Honouring Contractual Commitments
Strong partnerships are built on mutual respect and open communication.
- Adopt transparent and ethical business practices;
- Honour the agreements concluded and manage unforeseen events through proactive solutions.
5. Dignity and Respect for People
The well-being of everyone connected with our supply chain is essential.
- Protect the health and safety of workers;
- Guarantee freedom of association and the right to organise without fear of reprisal;
- Ensure fair pay and respectful treatment;
- Strictly prohibit forced labour and child labour;
- Respect land rights and access to resources, particularly for vulnerable communities.
6. Protection of CFStream's Information, Assets and Interests
Our reputation rests on trust. Supplier Partners must help preserve that trust.
- Strictly protect the confidentiality of information and property entrusted by CFStream;
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety;
- Prevent any situation likely to harm our reputation.
7. Social and Environmental Responsibility
CFStream is committed to sustainable practices and expects the same high standards from its partners.
- Reduce environmental impact through responsible practices;
- Protect water resources and limit waste;
- Take into account the effects of activities on the climate and natural resources;
- Comply with international standards on sustainability and human rights;
- Put in place mechanisms for reporting concerns.
Compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct
CFStream gives preference to ethical suppliers aligned with its principles. We take a risk-based approach to training and compliance verification. We expect our partners to cooperate fully in providing the necessary data, certifications and access to audits.
In the event of a breach, we will work with partners to remedy the issues. However, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate any agreement if non-compliance persists.
