1. Data Controller

The controller of the personal data collected on cfstream.com is CFStream Trading, SAS with share capital of €40,000.00, 5, rue Joseph Marsal, N°103B, 66000 Perpignan, France, RCS Perpignan 913 037 529 (hereinafter “CFStream”, “we”).

2. Data Collected

Quote request

When you use the quote request form, we collect the information you enter: surname, first name, company, job title, email address, telephone, country, city, business sector, description of the requirement, volumes, destination and other optional fields, as well as any attached file. We also record the date of the request, your IP address and your browser type, in order to prevent abuse (automated submissions, spam).

Technical logs

Like any web server, our servers record, for each request, the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the browser used and the referring page. These logs are used solely for the security and proper operation of the Site.

Language preference

When you visit the Site, the language you choose is stored in a cookie (see Article 7).

What we do not do

The Site does not offer account creation and uses no audience measurement tool, no advertising cookie and no social media plugin. We neither sell nor rent your data.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Processing your quote request, contacting you again and sending you an offer — pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• Ensuring the security of the Site and preventing abuse — legitimate interest of CFStream (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
• Remembering the language you have chosen — legitimate interest; this cookie, strictly necessary for the service you request, is exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés));
• Complying with our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations, if a business relationship ensues — legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Recipients and Processors

Your data is accessible only to authorised CFStream staff. It is processed, on our behalf, by the following service providers:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting of the Site and of quote requests;
• IONOS — email services, for receiving quote requests by email;
• Google (Google Fonts) — provision of the Site's fonts: when a page is displayed, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Your data is hosted in the European Union. The only possible transfer outside the Union concerns the IP address sent to Google when the fonts are loaded. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US data protection framework (“Data Privacy Framework”), recognised as adequate by the European Commission decision of 10 July 2023.

6. Retention Periods

• Quote requests: three (3) years from the last contact, then deleted;
• Customer data: for the duration of the business relationship, then in accordance with the statutory limitation periods; accounting records are kept for ten (10) years (Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code);
• Server technical logs: fourteen (14) days;
• Language preference cookie: until your browser is closed.

7. Cookies

The Site uses only one cookie:

• NEXT_LOCALE — stores the chosen language; session cookie, strictly necessary, exempt from consent.

The administration area, reserved for CFStream staff, additionally uses an authentication cookie (cfs_admin, duration 12 hours). No audience measurement or advertising cookie is set. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

8. Security

Exchanges with the Site are encrypted (HTTPS). Data is hosted in the European Union, and access to it is restricted to authorised persons. In the event of a data breach presenting a risk to your rights, we will notify the CNIL and, where applicable, the data subjects, in accordance with the GDPR.

9. Your Rights

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the following rights over your data:

You may also set out instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death. To exercise your rights, write to start@cfstream.com or to our postal address; we respond within one month. If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr — 3, place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07).

10. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy, in particular to reflect changes to the Site or to the regulations. The update date appears at the top and bottom of this page.
